‘Blanc de Blancs’ is a French term to describe sparkling wines made only from white grapes – in this case, only Italian Chardonnay grapes.

Right from the start, it’s got a lovely green apple aroma. Once poured, it’s very pale and very lively. It’s also very dry, which sets it apart from many alcohol-free wines. If sharp, dry white wines are your thing, this is for you.

Intriguingly, it’s made through a fermentation process using bacteria rather than yeast, which gives the aromas and flavours of wine without producing alcohol. It’s then enhanced with green tea extract, which really adds something special.
