If we were scoring this drink purely on its appearance, we’d have to give it top marks. It’s got a lovely caramel colour and comes in a beautiful square bottle with a blue and silver label that gives it the look of a quality blended whisky that would look good in any drinks’ cabinet.
The aroma and flavour are remarkably boozy at the first sip, but we found it was soon overwhelmed by a really peaty taste that really lingered. We tried mixing it with cola and with dry ginger but didn’t enjoy the results. You’ll have to try for yourself, but it wasn’t our favourite tipple.
