This alcohol-free gin is sold by Lidl under their own brand and is considerably cheaper than most drinks in this category. It comes in a smart bottle with a nice pattern of leaves and swirls. The drink itself has a nice herbal aroma. The taste is not at all close to a traditional gin but it’s light, clean and refreshing. Like most alcohol-free spirits, it’s not really meant to be drunk neat. Mixed with tonic, it makes a really nice summery drink – ideal for a warm afternoon sitting on the grass.
