Inch’s are primarily known for their original medium apple cider. This alcohol-free variant adheres to the same ethos, utilising apples sourced within forty miles of their Herefordshire mill.

The drink creates an impressive first impression with its quirky packaging that stands out on the shelf. The label boasts a fresh, colourful aesthetic that evokes a desire for a summer stroll through an apple orchard – sunlight warming your skin, the scent of ripening fruit in the air, maybe even a picnic blanket nearby!

Regrettably, the drink itself doesn’t quite fulfil the promise of the packaging. Although it pours nicely, with a golden hue and a satisfying fizz, the flavour is overwhelmingly sweet, resembling apple juice more than cider. The anticipated tartness or dry complexity is absent, and the finish veers into syrupy territory.

It’s not unpleasant, but it lacks the balance and depth that cider lovers might wish for. It may suit those in search of a light, fruity soft drink, but anyone looking for a convincing non-alcoholic cider experience might want to look elsewhere.
