Bristol Beer Factory are one of the hippest breweries, based in one of England’s hippest cities. They’re clearly proud of their patch, and many of their cans have a map of Bristol streets as a background design.
They’re also low-alcohol brewing pioneers, and launched their Clear Head IPA in 2020. Their 4.5% Milk Stout is enjoyed in pubs from Hull to Haverfordwest, and it’s now available at 0.5%. This is very particular type of stout, and it won’t be to everyone’s taste. It’s heavy and loaded with flavours of coffee and dark chocolate. It’s even a little bit smoky. It’s one to sit and savour slowly. If you’re on the hunt for complex and surprising beers, give it a go.
