The drink is crafted by the Devon-based Salcombe Distilling Co, who began their venture into the realm of non-alcoholic drinks in 2020, seeking to utilise their spirit-making expertise to create innovative alternatives to alcohol.
The drink is distilled and crafted using a dozen natural flavours, with the aim of creating a flavour reminiscent of the citrus and olive groves of the Mediterranean. It’s got a pale rose colour and a distinct blood orange scent. As you take a slip, the taste hits you instantly with refreshing, bitter citrus flavours and subtle floral notes, which are balanced by more savoury, earthy undertones, including rosemary and olive. The unique bitter and slightly woody aftertaste give the drink a sophisticated feel, setting it apart from other alcohol-free drinks. It’s the perfect drink for a hot summer evening.
