Due to the pandemic and lockdown, lots of fundraising events have sadly been cancelled. Hopefully they will be reorganised for later in the year, but for the time being Alcohol Change UK’s fundraisers have had to put their efforts on hold.

Excitingly, the wonderful people at London Marathon and several other organisations have come together to "save the UK’s charities" by launching the 2.6 challenge!

The 2.6 challenge can be anything you want; you could walk or run for 26 minutes, do 26 star jumps, do a plank for 2.6 minutes... All you need to do is come up with an activity revolving around the number 26 or 2.6 – the rest is completely up to you!

People of any and all ages can take part – the only requirement is that your activity must follow the Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing, and remember to stay local with whatever you decide to do.

How to get involved

You can join in with the challenge via JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving; just choose Alcohol Change UK as your charity. You can also use those pages to make a donation without doing a fundraising challenge.
