We reviewed Jukes Cordialities back in 2021. They are tiny bottles of syrup for mixing with tonic or soda as an alternative to wine. So, we were intrigued in 2026 when we saw this new drink from the same company, which is also aimed at wine-drinkers.
It’s a nicely packaged drink, with a smart monochrome label. The drinks itself is honey-coloured and unfiltered, with a slight sediment that’s very much part of the drink and doesn’t need to be left to settle.
There’s a variety of fruits here – lemon, lime, pineapple – and also fennel and hops, plus apple cider vinegar. Altogether, it’s an attractive mix. It’s sweet and sharp, with a pleasing warm aftertaste. It’s definitely worth a try. As it says on the bottle, it’s a drink like no other.
