The Gower Brewery was established as a microbrewery in 2011, in beautiful Penclawdd on the Gower Peninsular, and they’ve been on the up since then.

This low-alcohol IPA is a relatively new arrival – we came across in it early 2023. It’s got a nice amber colour. There’s plenty of hops but the bitterness is balanced by a nice malty aftertaste. The brewers describe it as a “the perfect companion for all-day Gower explorations whilst still being able to drive home”. Very true!

The bottle design is great too – a lovely image of the sun rising (or possibly setting) over the Gower crags.
