If you're after an IPA that slaps you in the face with hops, this probably isn’t the beer for you. But if you appreciate the flavour of a hoppy pale ale while still wanting something mellow and easy-drinking, this one is spot on. It’s very nicely balanced: pale in colour and quite gentle to drink, yet still unmistakably an IPA.

It has a really nice body too. Many NoLo beers understandably fall flat in this department, tasting a bit thin, but this one has a satisfying weight to it that makes it feel very, very close to enjoying a regular light IPA. It’s genuinely one of the best cans of low-alcohol beer we’ve enjoyed, and our taste-tester was impressed enough to reorder it in their next NoLo shop. Very highly recommended.
