Run Free is an alcohol-free India pale ale, inspired by the spirit and ethos of the LHG Run Club, who meet at the Left Handed Giant brewery in Bristol. At the time of writing, Run Free is their only alcohol-free offering, brewed, they say on the packaging, “to ensure that everyone always feels included and no one is left behind”.
So, does this one lead from the front or are we left chasing our tails? Well, it’s certainly a front-runner! With pine notes that will make you feel that you’re running cross-country through the woods rather than pounding the city pavements, it leaves a nice malty, creamy feel in the mouth, and has a citrus aftertaste that is especially pleasant. Perhaps not the best in its field, this one is still a winner in our book.
