Super Bock is one of Portugal’s favourite breweries, and their alcohol-free stout has been sold in the UK for many years now. It’s dark and lively with a good head that lingers, and reminded our taste-testers a little of old-fashioned bottled stouts like Guiness Extra.
It’s bitter and refreshing. It doesn’t have the complex notes of coffee and chocolate that some modern stouts do. If you’re looking for a dark beer of the old school, give it a go.
