This is Southwestern Distillery’s first foray into the alcohol-free category. And, frankly, it’s a very strong start! Developed by founder Tarquin Leadbetter, the drink aims to attain the same classic juniper, citrus and floral notes of the distillery's Cornish Dry Gin.
It’s been distilled with Cornish coastal botanicals, including gorse flowers, sea buckthorn, violets, and local sea salt. It’s not a mix of flavours our taste-testers would normally rush to include in their favourite beverages, if we’re honest, but clearly someone knows what they are doing. The result is a flowery, zesty beverage that was crisp and pleasant on the palette.
Best enjoyed with tonic and crushed ice.
